On cake and healthy eating
Healthy eating is much more than eating vegetables.
It is also about cultivating an appreciation and respect for food and your own self.
Diets and detoxing, in my opinion, shift the focus and attention to how you need to avoid failing the diet, instead of nourishing your body. It makes you compare yourself to others. It makes meal times stressful.
Definitely make an effort to meet your daily requirements for fruit and vegetables - definitely eat less processed food and more plants. Definitely strive to eat balanced meals which include adequate protein carbs and fat. But don't stress about eating foods that don't fit quite fit in to those guidelines.
