Mango & Kale Smoothie
This beautiful smoothie recipe is a great summer pick me up!
Mango and kale are packed full of antioxidants, B vitamins and fiber. This smoothie also gives you good fats and protein from nuts and seeds for a nutritious, filling and refreshing breakfast or post-workout drink!
Kale & Mango Smoothie
- 1/2 cup chopped Mango
- 3/4 cup of chopped Kale, washed
- 1 tablespoon LSA
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla bean paste
- 1 teaspoon Chia seeds
- 1 cup of Milk of your choice - cows and coconut are my favourite
- 1 tablespoon of Greek yoghurt for extra creaminess
Pop all the ingredients in a blender and blitz until it reaches your desired consistency.
Ever tried a smoothie bowl?
It took me a while to get into the smoothie bowl - I didn't think it would be filling enough! However for this porridge junkie it is a great treat for hot summer mornings or post exercise when hot food is just not appealing.
Easily make this into a breakfast smoothie bowl by sprinkling over 1 teaspoon of chia seeds and 1 tablespoon of rolled oats. Perhaps even some coconut flakes!
